We, the fans, would like to see Disney Interactive bring back "Marvel: Avengers Alliance" on Facebook and/or as a video game for the current game consoles. To this day, many fans remain disappointed and saddened by the game closing down and would love to play the game again. After four years of playing, collecting heroes and content, and so many possibilities of what could have been added into the game, the game closed down on September 30th, 2016. However, in 2016, fans were shocked and heartbroken to learn that Disney Interactive would be closing the "Avengers Alliance" game permanently. The game's popularity spawned a short-lived spin-off, "Avengers Alliance Tactics", and a mobile sequel "Avengers Alliance 2", but a majority of fans preferred the original for its content, characters and story. The game had alternate costumes for the heroes and villains, ISO-8s to equip their characters to make them stronger, special unlockable characters that players could earn by collecting 8 comic book covers from Lockboxes, and so on. and would take two characters, heroes and/or villains, with them in story missions and Player Vs. ![]() Developed by Offbeat Creations and published by Playdom (and then later by Disney Interactive), the player would be an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Getting good is just a matter of breaking through a few key barriers in the game.On March 1st, 2012, Facebook launched the game "Marvel: Avengers Alliance" for fans to play. Once you capture just a couple (endgame spoiler -) large Korath automata, finishing that mission will be the matter of just jumping into the system and waiting five seconds for your fleet to obliterate everything. There are ships in the game that can withstand multiple nuclear missiles head-on, and they're not even that difficult to obtain. They are basically a lite version of the Bactrian.I don't know how far in the story you are, but if you're buying human/hai capital ships for combat then you're probably not advanced enough. If you really need the versatility of the Bactrian, I strongly suggest capping Korath Raiders. While not the best ship in any of those categories, it is so versatile that it doesn't matter (well technically it is the best transport/capping ship in the game, besides one thicc unobtainable boi). Now there is an incentive to finally use something else, and if you still want the Bactrian you'll have to return for it with some better equipment. I've tried it in every capital ship type I can purchase/access, from Shield Beetles to Corvettes.I get smoked every time. What am I doing wrong, here? ![]() And facing that massive assemblage of firepower head-on leads to even a Shield Beetle getting wiped off the map in less than 15 seconds (30, if I install two extra Diamond shield regenerators.along with the one it already comes with. I can't use long-range duelling tactics - his flagship's weapons outrange anything I've got other than exactly one missile type. To wit, two upgraded Leviathans able to overhaul a speed 600 enemy without afterburners, two upgraded Firebirds with longer-range particle cannons, and two enhanced Headhunters with super-torpedoes launchers.Leaving aside the non-trivial chance that you'll literally emerge from hyperspace in his flagship's crosshairs (about 1 in 3, in my experience), this leaves the question.how the hell am I supposed to take that monstrous fleet on? Unlike Republic fleets on the FW mission string, it sticks together - I can't lure weaker combatants out from under their big brothers' protection.
